I'll say it again as politely as I can: please take down the picture of Harry and Hermione kissing. It's a blatant copy of my artwork at [link] and you did not ask permission to copy it.
I did take down the pic. I googled it, I had no idea it belonged to you. Like Ive said over and over, not all of us is gifted with the ability to draw from their head. And Im still learning about art, so give me a break. Its not like Im PUBLISHING it or anything. Then and ONLY then will I accept any animosity towards me. Otherwise, pizz off, because I draw what I like, so If I draw it, take it as a compliment. It means I like your work. But under no means will I ever say that the idea of the drawing is mine, unless I miraculously come up with something without referencing to any other picture. And like that will EVER happen. Therefor, I have done nothing ILLEGAL so if you have a problem, be polite about it and if I havent responded, then chill out, it just means ive been working and I dont have time to get online. And if I DO have time, then not enough to do EVERYTHING that I need to. Believe it or not, Deviant isnt my ONLY source of entertainment. Sorry for rambling and venting, but I am NOT in the wrong for drawing something of someone else's and doing nothing but displaying it as my own artwork, ARTWORK PEOPLE! Like I NOW have to say in my desc of pics, the idea is not mine, but the artwork IS. I drew THOSE lines, I shaded THOSE areas on MY DARN paper. Is Mary GrandPre (illustrator for HP) coming and banging down YOUR door for possibly taking on of HER poses? Or one of HER dreamt up ideas for the HP look? NO. So stop yelling at me for drawing something, might I add, not as well as the origionals, but still something I like. Look up copywriting in some lawbooks, or ask my father about the subject, he's an attorney. I'm pretty sure he would love to have ANOTHER reason to quote from his vast collection of tomes.

Pardon me, but I have been nothing but polite in my requests to you, and I will not "pizz off" when what you're doing is not courteous to other artists. Thank you for taking it down, but you need to think again if you think what you're doing is okay. Yes, it is alright to copy people's work as a learning tool, but you shouldn't re-post it without asking the original artist permission to copy the work and then not give the original artist credit. If you don't know who the original artist is, that is even worse.
I do not use DA as my only source of entertainment. I'm going into my senior year of college right now and have my own bills to pay on my apartment and such, so I do indeed have a life outside of the computer. No one is freaking out but you, and I don't know where you've gotten the idea that I've been rude. After all, I am not the one telling someone else to "pizz off".
Marie GrandPre is not knocking on my door for stealing her poses because I haven't; I come up with my own ideas and designs for the characters because truth be told, I don't care for her style of drawing. And she had the opportunity; she taught a class on childrens' book illustration last school year at my college. So yes, I do know she's the illustrator of the Harry Potter books.
Again, I don't know where you're getting the whole "yelling" thing. I think you should try being more courteous to other artists when they ask you to do something.

I have a friend who is an attourney who specializes in copyright law and my school teaches us about copyright ownership as well.
I wish you luck in your trying to learn more about drawing; I just hope you start going about it in a more courteous way.
